They don't have to be very long, 3-4 sentences can be very flattering to a gal that is questioning her love for you. Suggest that you start over and get to know each other better. Don't ask her to put her trust in you yet. Instead tell her that you want to earn her trust back. Starting as friends is a great way to accomplish this.
A small, inexpensive gift can show you care. I assume you know what she likes. If not, think about it for awhile, ask her friends and relatives if you have to. Show her you love her by giving her a gift that she would really like. Showing her that you pay attention to what she likes is a sure fire way to get back with your ex girlfriend by touching her heart. Leaving a note on the gift can really add some more value to it.
It's always a good idea to leave you number at the end of your notes and letters. make her want to call you.Since you are letting her decide to call you, the conversation should be much more productive.... she won't call you unless she wants to give you a second chance. Once she calls you, make sure you take it slow. Taking things too fast can actually scare her away, destroying your chances of getting your ex back.
